I bought this more as a deterrent than a security feature. it looks relatively sturdy and is fairly light weight so its alright if youre carrying it with you on rides.

Small lightweight chain that’s ideal for transporting about. Lock is okay, chain medium quality. The sheath comes off easily leaving the chain exposed to rub your wheel.

Good strong lock for the money.

This has been outside all year long securing one of our gates. The chain is reassuringly thick and the shackle padlock works every time. Good, but only 4 stars as I feel its a bit pricey. I think it's design is good as the keyhole tends to hang so that it naturally points downwards, helping to prevent water getting in and rusting up the lock. Much better than some cheaper versions with different locks that just rust solid forcing me to get out the hacksaw just to open a gate.
