I’ve been using a thermoelectric cooler in my truck for the past 5 years, and they’re ok in the winter, but in the summer they’re pretty useless. I got this on a deal price with 15% off voucher, so it came in at about £140. I wish I’d have got one years ago. What a game changer. Ice cold drinks, keeps milk cool, all my weeks food is kept fresh now. It holds quite a bit of stuff, and can hold all my food for a week in the truck. Yogurts, sandwiches, meals, drinks, milk, chocolate etc. The app works well. I had to mess about abit to get the app running but did it in the end. You have to download the app, then go in the app settings and make sure the Bluetooth is turned on then it connects up. It took about 10-15 mins from room temperature to get to -7 when I was testing it. It has a usb on the top to plug in a phone etc if needed. It has a very low voltage draw, and also gives you a reading on the screen of the battery. I run mine in a truck so it is 24-28 volts. The power cable is a really good length (about 3m), so if it’s used in a car the cable could run from the front to the boot if needed. Comes with an AC power cord too, if you want to run it on the mains. I’m lucky, the company I work for will pay me back for this, but to be honest I would have got it If I had to pay for it.If you’re out in a truck all week like me, this is a fantastic piece of kit. I can’t wait for the summer to come and have ice cold drinks at the ready!
