I use these as golf alignment sticks as they are pretty much the same and behave the same. Good coating with no hint of getting splinters. These are about 10cm longer than the usual alignment stick length and have a hollow centre instead of being a completely solid fibreglass stick (1 star off for this). I glue the pointy cap to the stick with UHU all purpose glue to make sure it won't get lost in the ground with frequent insertion and removal from the turf. Can recommend and much cheaper than the ones sold purposely for golf.
