It's affordable and it cleans

This isn't a high-end professional ultrasonic cleaner, but it's way more affordable and "good enough" for most uses outside of a lab. I bought it to clean flux residue off circuit boards and my first attempt went extremely well.I used about 350mL of Chemtronics Flux-Off with 1 gallon of distilled water. The specs for Flux-Off recommends running at 60degC, but the water only got up to 45degC at the end of a 30 minute cycle. I likely could have let it run for an hour first to let it warm up fully and de-gas the solution, but I was anxious to try it out. Despite running below spec, the PCB came out clean.The cleaner came with a drain hose and adapter, but I need a smaller hose to fit through the opening in a 5 gallon jug that I got from ULINE. I ended up getting a brass 3/8" thread to 3/8" barb adapter and a 1/2" hose. At the end of the cycle, I just opened the valve and everything drained into the waste jug. Very convenient!I really should have used deionized water instead of just distilled. The distilled water left a few water spots, which DI is less likely to do. I'm planning to get a 4-stage RO/DI filtration system to make my own DI water instead of buying it online.Overall, I'm very happy with this. As long as you don't expect a industrial-grade piece of equipment, I think you'll be happy too.

30 L Lacking power

First impression, looks very professional but noticed a couple of tiny dents after a close inspection.Not that noticeable unless your looking for them.I filled it with water to test the machine, firstly I just used the heater and checked with my smart meter monitor that it was 600w.... However I then added the cleaner which should have been 1200w total.It was barely averaging 1000w with fridge and freezer on...I've just ordered a plug-in energy monitor to check the precise wattages of heater or/and cleaner.My machine has 10 x 60w transducers so if results are 480w for cleaner then 2 transducers are faulty.Then I shall send it back......... will let you know

Overall a great product. But.. The basket insert has too much of a gap on the netting. So much so that I had to put steal screen in it to keep things from falling through. There's no way it will hold jewelry, small coins or brass.

Update:Seller contacted me about the issues offed a partial refund and even support on fixing the unit so i upped to starts because i think customer service is vital and this seller has proved that they are willing to stand behind thier product. although i still have the issues thier swift action to the review and willingness to correct it speaks volumeThis product is not what it claims, like other reviewers its power rating is grossly over rated it say 120w but it isnt lucky if its over 20, the heat function works but averages about 10 Minutes a degree to heat so start heating LONG before use. i purchased the 3L capacity which is a joke it holds about 1.5l , the top will not go on properly when the basket is in and the is no Brand name anywere on the machine. Not to mention that this product is very loud, all in all i would not recommend this product to anyone spend some more money and get a DK or something/anything else

Record cleaning machine!

As many others have noted ,the tank arrives with a 2 pin euro plug and adapter ....no earth . Luckily I happened to have a Uk kettle lead so replaced and all was fine .Build quality seems good however I_ struggling with the temperature. Ideally I would like a stable 35C as I_ cleaning vinyl albums .The machine does not seem to stop at the given temp and continues to soar until over 50c if allowed .Faulty machine or maybe the supplier can let me know what_ happening Oh the job this does is fantastic ,used with home made cleaning fluid & along with the okki nokki machine is a no brainier as a record cleaner .....if only the thermostat worked better!

Good seller, nice communication. One of the better priced 6 liter ultrasonics although sometimes it's more powerful than other times. I wonder if I can check somehow if all 3 motors are still working.Had some problems with the delivery but worked it out otherwise 5 star.

The ultrasonic clear arrived as stated when ordered, however it is ia 10lt washer but only holds 7lt! Not sure why this is! It work as expected but I found it needs more time than you would expect.

Works well in the shop for small parts. Takes a little while to heat up but the ultrasonics are strong. The basket doesn't allow the lid to close. It's a little loud if you're right next to it but not bad. More annoying than deafening.i cleaned some greasy bolts covered with old antisieze. after 5 minutes at 60 and a 1/4 cup of simple green concentrate diluted in water, parts are clean. Next i will try with a rust penetrent to see if it will remove rust. Works great for what i need. I just wish the lid closed fully.
